Hong Kong Gets Star Tours Via Pixar

Disney starting to wrap up their latest contract with Pixar. In the contract there will be a few new ride additions for Epcot. Now what does this have to do with Star Tours?

First of all, It seems the Wonders of Life pavilion, which is currently seasonal, will be rethemed to the Wonders of Computer Animation. It will have rides bases on the Incredibles, Cars and Monsters Inc.

And well, the Wonders of Life pavilion houses the ride Body Wars. Body Wars uses the same exact simulators as Star Tours. These 26 ton simulators will be taken out and shipped to Disneyland Hong Kong for their Star Tours ride. So thanks to Pixar, we get another Star Port for Rex to crash into!

Yoda/Mickey price increase

Disneyland has released the fixed version of the yoda/mickey mouse two pack. This version includes yoda holding a green lightsaber. At the same time, Disney has increased the price.

Now the popular two-pack costs $20 instead of $16. At the $16 price point these things flew off the shelves. At the $20 price tag they seem to have slowed down in sales.

Star Tours Ticket Collecting

As some fans know, Ticket Stubs are a collectible that most discard, but a big ticket stub collection can be quite impressive! Latest Hyperspace feature Scouting the Galaxy focusses on these.
