Indiana Jones and The Fifteen Years of Adventure
by David Yeh on March 3, 2010
Fifteen years ago, Disneyland opened the temple walls to a brand new attraction that changed the theme park playing field and continues to be a milestone in Disney history. With the creative forces of George Lucas and Disney, INDIANA JONES ADVENTURE: TEMPLE OF THE FORBIDDEN EYE was created, hot off the successful heels of Captain EO (1986) and Star Tours (1987)
Since its opening on March 3, 1995, the attraction may have have lost a few minor effects and a toned down ride but an addition of a new animatronic with a better Harrison Ford likeness offers hope that this attraction has legs. Proof that the Indiana Jones Adventure continues to be a highlight fifteen years after its opening. Please join EndorExpress.net in celebrating its 15th anniversary and to fifteen and hopefully more years to come.

It’s been a few years since I was on the Indy ride at Disneyland, but it was incredible and second only to Star Tours. I can’t wait to go back and visit the “Temple” again. Maybe they’ll give the Indy ride a facelift like they are doing with Star Tours.
