Orlando Attractions Magazine – The Show has posted episode 51. The episode includes a interview with Disney’s Steven Miller who provides a preview of the upcoming Muppets/Star Wars action figures and the 3 & 3/4 inch (Hasbro/Kenner) scaled Starspeeder 1000 vehicle – playset.
The Starspeeder 1000 is previewed about 16 minutes into the video.

We have the press release that confirms the original version of Star Tours is scheduled to close April 2, 2012. Star Tours: The Adventures Continue has a scheduled opening in the Spring 2013 at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Disney Parks Blog posted a report about Muppets merchandise coming soon to Disney Theme Parks. Carded images of The Muppets as Star Wars characters were shown in the post.
This set of Muppets figures was first announced in 2010 at Star Wars Celebration.
On Tuesday Disney Parks Blog posted that Star Tours – The Adventures Continue was one of the winners of the 18th Annual Thea Awards.
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue was honored with the award for Outstanding Achievement – Attraction Refresh.
