Star Tours is back, and everyone has to know it! Disney has launched a big media campaign, with some brilliant TV Ads. We all remember the rather fun Piece Of Cake commercial, but this one does, pardon the pun, takes the cake. Even the Dark Lord himself can’t wait to ride the new Star Tours.

DisneyParks just released a new commercial for Star Tours 2, showing not only the inside of the new Starspeeder 1000, but also parts of the ride video including Kashyyyk, Coruscant and Hoth. Video after the break.

The official Star Wars site just confirmed the long lasting rumour that the Star Wars saga will be having a re-release, in 3D. Starting with The Phantom Menace in 2012.
