D23: The Official Disney Fan Club and the Walt Disney Archives have announced the popular exhibit “Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives” will be returning to the D23 Expo. During the D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center, August 9 – 11, 2013, this all-new exhibit will feature: the 50th anniversary of Mary Poppins, ABC’s hit series Once Upon A Time, and a look at the longstanding connection between Disney and L. Frank Baum’s beloved series of books about the land of Oz.

The Disney Parks Blog has released the schedule of Star Wars celebrities for this year’s Star Wars Weekends held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando! Celebrity event hosts James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein will be joined each weekend with a trio of talent.
Also revealed is a photo opportunity with a life-size Rancor and specialty “one-man shows” by James Arnold Taylor, Ray Park, and Warwick Davis.
Highlights for me include Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar) and Jim Cummings (voice of Hondo Ohnaka and… a slew of other Disney favorites). Who are you most looking forward to seeing?

Disney has announced Billy Dee Williams star of both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as a guest for Star Wars Weekends 2013 (Weekend IV, June 7-9) .
Star Wars Weekends is scheduled every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 17 – June 9, 2013 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

In April of 2012 Disneyland Paris turned 20 years old. However, they liked being 20 so much, they decided to extend their celebrations for another six months! To kick it off, they invited nine international fashion designers to unleash their creativity and give a fresh take on Disney classics.
DisneyParksBlog has posted the 2013 Star Wars Weekends logo and announced two celebrity guests. Ray Park will attend Weekends I and II. Warwick Davis will be one of the guests during Weekends II and III.
