Steve Jobs was a perfectionist, a revolutionary, a visionary. Every little detail mattered, but still keeping the big picture in mind. He truly was a genius, and left his dent in the universe in ways many don’t even know.

Steve always knew the right words to say something, sometimes making a point with just a mere few words. And I’ll keep it like that here.

The first thing that’s noticeable, is the new navigation and header image.  The idea, according to Kris, the creator and Webmaster of the site: “Star Tours is a very visual experience. After you rode it, you want to go again, and again, and again. But unfortunately for many of us it’s just not easy to go to one of the parks. Be it budget wise, or plain simple a distance problem. While researching new articles, I have found that the one thing lacking from our site, is big nice photography. That’s why the site was analysed, and the content and pictures brought to a whole new level”. Header images for features and pages will often feature new and big images, while the navigation will always be in reach, without being intrusive.

One of the future new features, is a completely updated Database, with 6 possible Star Tours variations as we know them. (The original ones in their 4 locations, and the 2 new updated ones).

The entire site is also designed with Tablet use in mind, so the Star Tours experience will be ready for you, wherever and whenever you are.

We have moved the site from the old Joomla system to the best of CMS’s, namely WordPress. Over the last few months the site has being tweaked in content and layout, to give you the best and fastest way on all things Star Tours, Special features, and so much more! Also keep in mind that you can now also comment on news items!

It’s weird to think, just 7 years ago. It was 3 months since Attack Of The Clones was released in the theaters, when I decided to start this website. And here we are now today. On a new system, with more content then ever. And we are not thinking of stopping, au contraire,we are just getting started! With Star Tours 2 coming slowly up, we are going to see quite an amazing time.

Thank You to the crew for sticking around all these years, and of course, you visitors, almost 275.000 of you, since our launch 7 years ago.
