Destination D brings Star Wars Land news

Today at D23: Destination D at Walt Disney World Resort, Bob Chapek Chairman for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, brought us brand new Star Wars Land news. First of all, a brand new visual showing how the Star Wars-themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando will look once the sun goes down.

If you look close, the image reveals a peek at what you’ll discover in this all-new land located in the southwest corner of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including one of the signature attractions that lets you take the controls of the Millennium Falcon.

Works are well on their way at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland park in Anaheim as well. Star Wars 14-acre expansion will be largest single-themed land expansion in the history of the park.

Also new will be a brand new mission for Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, inspired by Star Wars Episode VIII.
