The Aurebesh in Star Tours: The Adventures Continue

I remember the first time I picked up a Star Wars Role-Playing Game sourcebook from West End Games that contained an ‘Aurebesh’ chart, back in the late 80′s/early 90′s. My initial two thoughts were, “Wow! That’s pretty cool!” and “Wow! Someone has too much time on their hands!”  I specifically recall a pretty cool graphic for a tabletop gaming diorama featuring an Aurebesh-graffitied MPC model kit of the AT-AT, but told myself that was about the only application for which the Aurebesh would ever be useful.

20 Years Of The Rocketeer

Twenty years ago, Walt Disney Pictures released a film that was intended to be a great new franchise.  Instead, they got a stand-alone film that has become a cult classic and still pleases audiences today.  Based on the graphic novel created by Dave Stevens, THE ROCKETEER, played well with critics but in an age before the internet, word of mouth was quickly terminated after a disappointing debut weekend.

No End Date For Captain EO Tribute?

Captain EO returned to Disneyland in February 2010 in Tribute to the star of the 3-D short film Michael Jackson. With Captain EO Tribute now playing at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, The OCRegister recently asked Disney if the show will become a permanent addition to Tomorrowland.

New Raiders Of The Lost Ark Park Merchandise

A new two two-figure set featuring Mickey Mouse and Goofy playing Indiana Jones and Sallah respectively is coming this Fall to the Disney Parks. The set will also come with a few accessories like the infamous ark from the first film.
