Experience the Saga like never before at family theme park in Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Jan. 6, 2011) – In March 2011, LEGOLAND® California is introducing an all-new, dedicated STAR WARS Miniland area for the very first time! Guests can enjoy seven of the most famous scenes from the six live-action STAR WARS movies, as well as a scene from the animated series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS™ all made out of 1.5 million LEGO® bricks built in 1:20 scale. Guests will be further immersed into the STAR WARS experience as they pose with life-size LEGO models of Chewbacca, R2-D2 and Darth Vader.

Around Disneyland

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln made its long awaited return this past weekend at Disneyland Park in California.

In the lobby of Great Moments you can find a look at Disneyland past, present, and future. Among Captain EO and Hannah Montana we find a window devoted to the long awaited Star Tours II. 

We also take a look at D STREET, the new Disney high-end store, featuring a lot of new art prints!

D23: What will happen?

D23 (the large Disney Convention) is getting some special visitors. The following message appeared on D23′s Twitter page.

“We were contacted by the Galactic Empire and have been advised that Imperial dignitaries will be attending Disney’s D23 Expo. As a result, a squadron of Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion will be patrolling the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, Sept. 12.”

But what exactly does this mean ? Let’s speculate!

Magic of Myth: the Diorama

Han Solo Rides Space Mountain

On Sunday September 23 2007. Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and her son were spotted around the Disneyland Resort.

Several photos are floating around online including this Space Mountain on ride photo.

And if you were wondering, the person in the plaid vest was their personal Disney Assistent / Tour, and yes, the other 2 people in the pictures were, as you can see, thrilled.
